Overview
The use of AWS S3 continues to skyrocket. Often S3 buckets are used to share data, within a company and externally with partners, because it’s convenient and easy. But, if a bucket is misconfigured (eg a private bucket is mistakenly made public) or confidential data is dropped in a public bucket, then you have a data breach.
Current options will identify all the public buckets, but it’s up to you to determine if any confidential information is in any of those buckets, which may be too late.
In this webinar, we will propose a new way to secure your data in S3 by encrypting the data before it goes into any bucket. This approach ensures your data is always protected, even if the bucket is misconfigured to be public, when it should be private.
